Getting that first job as a junior can be tricky. Companies are loath to train up developers on their time, under the assumption that it will use up time that could be spent being productive. In my experience, junior developers are just as valuable as seniors. Seniors have the experience to guide a project or workflow, while juniors have the inquisitiveness to question how and why we do things.
